Expectations
No home is perfect.
Even well-maintained homes usually have inspection findings.
That can surprise buyers, especially first-time buyers. Inspection reports are often long, detailed, and full of photos. When you are already making one of the largest financial decisions of your life, that report can feel overwhelming.
But a long report does not automatically mean a bad house.
Homes require maintenance. Systems age. Small items come up. Even newer homes can have issues that are worth understanding.
The real question is not, “Is this house perfect?” The better question is, “Do I understand this home clearly enough to feel comfortable moving forward?”
